D & K New Year, New Creations

I have been incredibly privileged over the past few years to be the sole creator of Daniel & Kirstin Wilks Competition Wear. This year is filled with all the excitement we all share every time this rolls around. Stay tuned for regular updates on their creations and the big reveal will be at this years New Zealand Nationals.

Project Valentine History:

2016: Project Valentine was born when Daniel, Kirstin and Myself got together and began this amazing and positive collaboration. They came to me asking for Professional, Strong, Empowering and Elegant creations for their debut into the Professional Division.

When we started talking Kirstin didn't have a clear vision for herself. We spoke about many concepts and decided to give her time to think about who she truly is when she takes the floor.

I have always believed in alter egos. One of my biggest inspirations is Beyonce' and her alter ego Sasha Fierce. I myself have a alter ego on the floor, KES.

Kirstin came to me a few days later with the name and meaning being VALENTINE her alter ego. This was extremely personal to her and gave me so much inspiration and that is where her Standard and Latin dresses came from and also Daniel's shirt.
